Exhibits standards of excellence in customer service. Identifies trends in MyChart activation status and frequently asked questions to identify and drive best practice functionality and patient and provider engagement and usage
MyChart Patient Support Specialist Position reports directly to MyChart Manager. Key responsibilities of the role include:

Required Minimum Education
Associate's Degree Required or graduate of medical assistant program Required
Satisfactory completion of college-level medical terminology course. (This requirement can be met within the first 6 months of hire.) Required
Five years of directly related patient portal customer service experience in lieu of Associates or MA. Required
Required Minimum Experience
Minimum 5 years experience using Electronic Medical Record Required
Minimum 2 years recent and directly related patient portal customer service experience Required
Experience in computer applications and access provisioning required. Epic MyChart patient portal experience Required

This includes greeting customers, registering patients at check-in and check out, answering telephones, scheduling appointments, cash management, and/or adiminstrative functions that support the practice's operations.
Your Day 1 new team member experience will consist of a 4-hour virtual orientation session in the morning followed by self-led orientation modules for learning in the afternoon, to be completed by 5 PM.
