Can you take popcorn into Vue? ›

Vue does not allow customers to bring any hot food or any alcoholic drinks. Aside from this, though, "if film fans would prefer, they can bring in their own cold snacks and non-alcoholic drinks".

Great from Vue cinemas; all films £3.99 on Monday's. Great reclining seats and same experience you would pay for £9 each on other days. The refreshments as overpriced as usual as large popcorn and Diet co*ke cost be £10.49 so they make up the monies on the refreshments.

The booking process is completed over four screens, a slight improvement over Odeon, however where Vue really beats Odeon is on the 'seat selection' screen. The film I booked through Odeon had unallocated seating. Vue lets you choose where to sit. Personally I hate unallocated seating.

Theatres aren't as strict as cinemas about bringing your own food – there's nothing wrong with carrying a plastic bottle of water, your own sandwiches to eat during the interval, or a cheeky box of chocolates to share with a friend.
