  I made this for a friend's birthday who has celiac disease and was pleasantly surprised. It is pretty sweet, but the raspberry sauce cut down on the sweetness. It was very chocolatey (almost like fudge) and the texture wasn't bad either. She kept the recipe so I guess she liked it too!!! - 5/14/08

  My husband and I were both skeptical, but we really enjoyed it. It was very dense and moist. It made me feel much less guilty than a similarly sized portion of traditional fudge cake. - 10/29/07

  this is really good.. I only eat a half a serving with lowfat milk.. gives me my chocolate "fix".. very good.. it's so good to find things to satisfy my sweet tooth that I can fit into my healtheir way of eating - 4/25/08

  I've made a similiar flourless chocolate cake for years. This was a nice variation. I also agree with the others, if you don't like it, (and never tried it) don't say anything. - 4/28/09

  My daughter wanted this cake for her birthday, and I made a double recipe (9" round pans) and set it up as a layer cake. It was filled and iced with a light cream cheese frosting. I can hardly call it healthy, but it is delicious! Be sure to cut small pieces, as the cake is rich. - 5/17/09

  Made this for dessert last night. I'm the only one gluten free and all four of us really enjoyed it. I didn't have egg substitute on hand so I used a total of 4 eggs. I sprinkled powdered sugar on top and then added fresh raspberries and drizzled with a few melted chocolate chips. - 9/15/13

  We tried it. Prior experience with chick peas helped me making this cake. I happen to love chick peas so it was nice and moist for me. I had to slap my husband's hand from going from seconds. - 4/28/09

  Whoever said this has 1 weight watchers point needs to recalculate. The figures given are for EACH SERVING, not for the whole cake. Each serving has 8 points, way too much for me to spend on a desert. - 4/28/09

  This recipe sounds interesting, but I am confused that the recipe says it makes 8 servings, but the calorie calc is for 12 servings. If you make this cake into 8 serving the calories per serving would be more like 380. - 9/7/13
