“The location is rual but not far from Carbondale IL, home of Southern Illinois University. It's a winery adjacent to a Walker's Bluff Casino and hotel. It's a nice casual place with pub food as well as more expensive meals. The atmosphere leans more toward a pub venue. The food prices are reasonable, as are the wines. The tasting is $5 for 5 tastings. We had a nice time.“

“My son had his wedding at Walker's Bluff Tasting Room. EXCELLENT! Enter thru the Rabbits Hole, Ceremony in the Wine Cave, Champaign toast around the Circle Bar, Reception in the Tasting Room. Food was OUTSTANDING. Wedding Planners were GREAT. Everything was GREAT! Great Memories.“

“Nice, clean small Casino, 2 months young.Employees were all courteous.Slots we’re fairly loose.Disappointed that the better Restaurant is only open on weekends, Winery Restaurant as well…. BummerWish them the best. Forgot to mention: I did not like the fact that you had a time limit on ordering another drink!!! 20 minutes before you are allowed another!!! Really????“

“This is my ALL TIME favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. Although it is small, that doesn't bother me. I think it's very comfortable. Their food is delicious, I recommend the street tacos that come with SUPER spicy tomatillo salsa. I love the El Jalisco special as well!“

“Tea is good but too sweet- but please please dont use the restroom. Its TERRIBLE. The door handle and around the door is filthy and the toilet was worse than many gas station taco bathroom events. The sink is disgusting and the paper towel holder puts out a 1/4 inch st a time. Makes me wonder how clean their boh is with the fecal matter crusted inside the toilet“

“Very fancy food. Not what we normally go for, but we thought for a special occasion we'd try it out. We had escargot for an appetizer. It was really good. For entrees I had rack of lamb, my wife had a coffee and molasses encrusted filet, and my daughter enjoyed a New York strip. They were all prepared perfectly and tasted fantastic. We also indulged in desserts, cheesecake, lemon tart and creme brulee. They were also delightful. Our waiter Mike was very knowledgeable and helpful. If there was any downside to our experience it was the check. It was quite expensive. But sometimes it's okay to splurge a little!“

“05/06/24 Excellent breakfast restaurant. The staff was attentive and courteous.I had the stuffed biscuit & gravy which was absolutely everything the menu description made it out to be, and more. I would have it again but the homemade corned beef hash was a close second, which just means I'll have that the next time I visit.The owner even came around to ask about how our meal was, but refused to remake mine when I complained how horrible it was. I'm guessing my claim was less than credible with an empty plate in front of me.10/10 will visit again.“

“Such a wonderful vibe. The music, the food, and don't forget the cookies. Try the date walnut cookie and thank me later. For good measure buy a pink cookie, chocolate dipped peanut butter cookie, and a magic bar. I came back after 20 years, the location is different but the bakery and most importantly the bakers / owners are back in ownership and things have never been better. You need to experience a place that is part of Carbondale history.“

“First time trying Yamato in Carbondale today and it did not disappoint! They have updated the menu and are bringing something super cool and of quality to Carbondale! The owners are the sweetest people and really care about their product, and are always looking to make it better. And can you believe the new owner is only 24 years old??? “Only a couple of options for vegetarians during weekdays and nothing much on weekends. I wish they had more for vegetarians and vegans. We usually eat the vegetable bento box. We ask them to replace the California roll with vegetable roll since the California roll contains imitation crab which is not vegetarian.Vegetarian options: They have a couple of vegetarian options. They have a vegetable bento box but you have to replace the California roll with vegetable roll. They have a couple of sushi rolls and hibachi vegetables.Parking: They have good parking as part of the restaurant.“

“This diner has been around for a very long time. The building is dated and there is a certain smell about the place. Not a smell that is horrible, just the smell of an older building. What offsets the older building smell is the food and service. The food was very good and much less expensive than Huddle House, Cracker Barrel, etc. The service was good. Friendly and attentive. Overall this is a good place to eat at a great value.“

“I've been enjoying Pag's pizza since 1978. The other mainstay place in town is mighty fine, but the thin crisp crust from a real brick oven really does it for me.Kid-friendliness: Like any family pizza joint. “Best cheeseburgers I've had. Better than Five Guys (And I love Five Guys). Food came quick, and looked exactly like the pictures on the menu. Juicy, tasty, cooked perfectly.Interior is rather basic but it's not bad. Great cheeseburgers, and a crying shame they don't have more business.“

“Very much a friendly small town restaurant with a good sized menu reminiscent of southern blue plate. Special meat in three restaurants with things like barbecue, chicken and dumplings, daily specials, pies of the day. Very friendly and accommodating weight staff, caters to local clientele. Great and quick drive-thru as well for all of their menu items. I highly recommend it. Seating area is not large but adequate.Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly!“

“Food was good and filling. It’s classic comfort food. Our server was sweet and friendly but seemed new. As to atmosphere, the place was freezing but we find the antiques and shop fun to look at.Vegetarian options: Honestly there’s really nothing vegetarian here. “Been here several times. All waiters are knowledgeable about the vegan options available so it's easy to choose from the menu.Vegetarian options: Most of the items in the menu can be made vegan and you can select tofu for the protein option. However if you ask the waiter they can tell you if the sauces used are vegan and they can leave it out if not. One of the waiters told us that the vegan appetizers are fried in the same oil as meat options so if you are particular that reduces some of the items you can order if you don't want to eat items fried in the same oil as other meat options.“

“I really like the pizza. I could eat it for every meal. But the customer experience here is often not great. My spouse recently went to pick up a pizza we'd ordered over the phone. He waited in the parking lot for 20 minutes, knowing that's how long it takes to make the pizza, before heading into the drive through. When he arrived at the drive through window, they told him just a minute, then proceeded to ignore him as he tried to get anyone's attention for another 20 minutes. My pizza was cold and my spouse was pissed. I should have asked for a refund. A drive-through is supposed to be there to make the dining experience faster and more convenient. Don't have one if you're going to blow off your customers.Also, they have a $4 upcharge for salads if you want to take them to go, which is genuinely insane. When I've asked about this I was told it's because people were overfilling salads from the salad bar when taking out... which... if people are taking too much salad, just give them a smaller container?? I could understand a 50¢ upcharge, sure, but $4?? That's egregious.“

“Went with my family for supper tonight, was seated right away food was great. The reason for the 4 star review was the service. I ordered the country fried steak, it came with eggs hash browns and my choice of bread. I told my waitress I wanted biscuits and ask for butter. Then I added a order of biscuits and gravy also. when our food arrived I noticed the waitress had forgotten my biscuits that came with my country fried steak dinner. I was told they gave me biscuits with my gravy, when I asked about my biscuits n butter that came with my meal, I was told they put the biscuits with my gravy and only charged me for a bowl of gravy. When I ask why when I ask for biscuits and butter because it came with my meal (I wanted it for my eggs) I was told again She had giving me 2 biscuits. the waitress then held up 4 fingers and said you want 4 biscuits?? I said I want what came with my meal. Then again she held up 4 fingers and said if you want 4 biscuits I can bring you 4 biscuits at that point I was just fed up with the conversation and asked if I could please get some butter. The butter was cold and was not spreadable lol The entire time we were there we were not offered a refill on our drinks, two of our party of 4 finished half of there meal with no drinks. The food was really good just was really disappointed in the service.“

“I ate at Buffalo Wild Wings a few weeks back and Abby was my server. I mean….just WOW! She was very kind and very knowledgeable. I have never eaten here before so it was a pleasure having Abby help me out and look over the menu. She was very fast with my drink refills and was very fast with my food! Everybody should definitely request to sit in her section!!!! I know I will when I go back!“
