We produce a diverse range of plays, involving participants of all ages and backgrounds.Role Overview: As the Assistant Stage Manager, you will work closely with the Stage Manager and the production team to ensure the smooth running of rehearsals (Wednesday evenings and Sunday early afternoons), technical rehearsals and performances (23-30 June 2024). This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, proactive, and enjoys working in a collaborative environment.Key Responsibilities:1.Assist the Stage Manager: Support the Stage Manager in all aspects of production, including rehearsals, technical rehearsals, and performances.2.Rehearsal Coordination: Help set up and maintain the rehearsal space, including arranging furniture, props, and set pieces as required. Assist with managing actor schedules and ensuring prompt starts and finishes to rehearsals.3.Communication: Act as a liaison between the production team, cast, and crew, relaying important information and updates as necessary. Ensure that all members of the production team are aware of their call times and any changes to the schedule.4.Props and Set: Assist with the organization, maintenance, and tracking of props and set pieces throughout rehearsals and performances.
